Kejriwal’s statement came each day after the capital recorded 2,199 fresh cases and 62 deaths in 24 hours.

The Delhi government had earlier predicted that “there are going to be 1 lakh cases within the capital by June 30 and 15,000 beds are going to be needed”.

A total of 58,348 patients have recovered, been discharged, or migrated thus far, while there are 26,270 active cases, it said.

An aggregate of 9,585 RT-PCR tests and 7,594 quick antigen tests were directed. a total of 5,31,752 tests are led to date – 27,986 tests for each million populace, the specialists said.

In the last week, the amount of the latest infections has grown by around 4% every day. for each 100 confirmed cases, three have died thanks to the deadly virus within the city thus far. The recovery rate has increased to 66%.
